Hutchmoot Hub (A Collection Of All ‘moot-related Blogposts, Websites, Etc.)
This is an attempt to collect all the posts out there referencing the inaugural Hutchmoot. It also attempts to present websites/blogs of Hutchmoot attendees. It further attempts links to those weirdos what made some kind of presentation at the 2010 Hutchmoot. I’ll continue to update it, so just comment if you wish to be included. I hope it’s helpful. –S.D. Smith

Great timing Sam, Street GRACE sent me a link today for an updated page:

This is an organization in Atlanta dedicated to the eradication of child sex trafficking in Atlanta and beyond.

Oh, and there should be a collective “Awwwwwwwwwwww” much like the reaction Evie’s excellent cuisine this past Saturday night when Walt said the word “food”.

Thanks, JJ. I am A man, but as I pointed out at HM, I’m half-woman on my mother’s side.

I’ve read 3/4 of the blogs and it is clear that Hutchmoot was amazing and that God tended to some weary, lonely souls out there. I’ve really enjoyed reading everyone’s thoughts, they have blessed me immeasurably.
I know I’ve commented somewhere about the reading of blog posts being encouragment, but I must say again that for them to ‘witness’ as it were with my own heart, a sort of kindred spirit, then yes, Hutchmoot in the flesh must have been wonderful.

Were any of the sessions recorded? If so, will there be podcasts made available somehow for those of us who were unable to attend? I’d love to hear some!
One of the sessions was recorded. We’ll have to listen to it and see how it turned out. Hopefully it’ll be useful for a podcast.

Pete,
How about Walt? It would be really cool to share his words.
Per Walt’s contract, we couldn’t record his.
Too bad, that would have been a great thing to share. It definitely inspired the audience. I found some audio on his website:

I’m a little late chiming in, but I want to THANK YOU Rabbit Room hosts for an amazing Hutchmoot! I’ve finally fleshed out my thoughts a bit in my little corner of the web:
http://heatherivester.com/2010/08/20/entering-the-hutchmoot-fellowship/
Now that I’m working my way through the stack of books I brought home (and my kids are too), the Hutchmoot fellowship will continue its work of encouragement!

I’ve added yours to the top, Heather. Thanks!
I think a lot of us felt like you, that we’d be out of our depth. But found what you found, a humble, welcoming community that didn’t really care who was the smartest, or finest arteeeest.
A sweet experience.

Thanks again Sam. I spent part of Saturday and this afternoon parsing through the blogs. This is a great set of reflections and inspirations. Here’s to more of that out here online and in the local communities were Rabbit Roomers roam.
