Eric Peters: Birds of Relocation

The announcement of a new Eric Peters’ record is cause for celebration in my world. From where I sit in my office I can often hear Eric grumble and mutter in next room as he’s working out his songs, and I consider it a privilege that soon I’ll hear the fruit of those grumblings as he and Ben Shive start recording the album. My only real question is whether or not these birds of relocation are the same birds revenged upon in Eric’s monumental space epic Revenge of the Birds. I suppose time will tell.
