The latest James Bond movie has hit theaters. Should you expect a Goldfinger triumph, or a Moonraker train wreck? Thomas McKenzie of the One Minute Review knows for sure.

All I can say is that I’m glad that I didn’t have any food in my mouth when I watched the last few seconds! Choking hazard! So funny! I’m excited for this movie as I’m a HUGE Bond fan as well.
Wow! Thomas, I think this is the first omr I’ve ever watched where you didn’t include a “but…” Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen you praise many a movie, yet never with such vigor and NEVER without something you’d change. So, sold! Wanted to see it. Now, have to see it.
Tom, you are so wrong you’re almost right…
The beginning is good (not as good as Casino Royale’s free running bit) The villian is amazing, his back story is great, the theme song is great, and that is about it.
After the bad guy has his “teeth moment” the film begins to drop down into the “ehh” catagory.
Casino Royale is better in every way thinkable!!!!
This latest offering is a hair better than that last one……..Quantum of So-not-watchable.
Daniel Craig or whoever you are… you are a funny man.
I prefer Quantum to the most recent and I still haven’t seen Casino Royale.
Thank you Brave Sir Robin…
I was sure you were going to rake this one over the coals like you have so many times with movies I enjoyed. I think you were right, it’s a Bond film made for true Bond fans, not for people who started with Casino Royale. My only thought is this: When will they bring back that classic cheesy bond humor? Even if it’s just a taste, that’s what would have brought it from A to A+ for avid Bond fans. My wife has been following Bond since childhood (her dad’s a big fan) said it was her favorite of all of them. I’m not totally sure, but its definitely top 5.

This is the one minute biography of Father Thomas McKenzie. He's the inimitable host of the One Minute Review and the pastor of Church of the Redeemer in Nashville, Tennessee. Also, he has samurai swords. We highly recommend this priest.
