Awesome!

I cannot wait for Saturday morning kids music. Not that I don’t listen to Slugs & Bugs all day everyday anyway (I made a rhyme!).
yes, Jess, as seen by my thoughts this morning regarding Obama’s reelection: “The Hole in My Sock song will make sense for another four years!”
Ben,
No, my family had that all figured out. If Obama lost, the rhyme was going from “Obama/mamma” to “Romney/mommy.” Easy fix.
But, as you say, now unnecessary.
Wouldn’t it be the “Pajama Drama” song you are referring to?
At any rate, whether or not Obama had been re-elected, I think it is a good landmark of history. Your kids can grow up and sing it to their kids and their kids will remark on how old they are to have been alive while Obama was president.

Awesome. I use Downcast but don’t see it available there. Maybe soon?
Jeff, I’m pretty sure Downcast is a podcast app, not a internet radio player. Am I wrong?
Ah! Right. Thanks. Hmm, no luck on iHeart Radio either…hopefully I’ll find it!

[have been searching on mobile/apps, but now thinking this is only web-based?]

Jeff:
It’ll come up in any Shoutcast-capable app (which is most of them). It’s a basic shoutcast stream.

Thanks Pete…. I mostly like to get excited about things and then skip the rest of the info. Consider me informed!

I am loving this. Thanks!

Well, shucks: no luck on iHeart or Stitcher apps. Help?

This is great! I forgot that iTunes does radio.

I thought you’d like to know that the Rabbit Room Radio has become a “real” radio station in our house because I run it on my computer with an fm transmitter so I can listen to it on the radio in the kitchen and elsewhere . . .

Glad you’re enjoying it, Matt!

I had pretty much given up on contemporary Christian music until I found Rabbit Room Radio. There is honesty here.

Tuning in now after a long pause with Christmas busy-ness. You’ve added a lot more tunes! Love this! And love that I can just push play on the iPhone and plug it in to my under-the-cabinet stereo in the kitchen.

Many nights I struggle with pain and find that I suffer less when I have a diversion. Had tried television and the music channels. . . as well as BBC Radio Cornwall, England. . . but then I found my Rabbit Room and thank God for this ministry through the night!
Thank you all for your talents as you glorify God!

NV when I refreshed the page it showed me.
I really like that song…

Cynthia ,
“I’m Sorry” is by Ben Shive. It’s on Cymbal Crashing Clouds

“Sorry But I’m Yours” has a bit of a Beach Boys feel to it. (Only without the falsetto)

I’d never heard of Jared McCauley until RR Radio played “Not Dead Yet” yesterday and I looked him up and bought the song on iTunes. It’s excellent! Thanks for introducing us to some mighty fine stuff, whoever is in charge of that!

I’m trying to determine how much data usage I’d be using if I turned on Rabbit Room Radio while driving? Anybody know what the bitrate (16 kbps, 32kbps, 64 kbps, 128 kpbs???) is for playing the radio on an iphone? I currently just run it off of this link through Safari on my iphone, is there a cheaper alternative?
Andy, you can stream the station through any radio app that supports shoutcast streams. I’m not sure if an app will let you alter the streaming rate, but I think you’d have to listen to a whole lot of radio to eat up much bandwidth. Can’t say for sure, though.

Listening to RR while packing boxes and writing a paper…it’s like coming into a roomful of kindred souls and familiar faces I haven’t yet met.

I stumbled across this tonight, Victoria Day holiday in Canada! This music is so refreshing because of its creativity, folkish undertones, down-to-earth-ness, and faith threads. It’s a pleasant break from the usual brand of faith-based music out there. I love it. Thank you!
