Counting Stars Video, Part the First
Hey, folks. With the release date for Counting Stars just six weeks (or so) away, the promotional machine has ignited and is rolling down the Please-Buy-My-Record Highway. Here’s the first of a few (I think) videos we’ll be happily bombarding you with, starring the gregarious Andy Gullahorn, the hilarious Ben Shive, and the nefarious me. By all means, send the link for this video to everyone you know.
A.S. Peterson has crafted a work of compelling historical fiction which begs the question, “Can this really be a debut novel?” With dogged fidelity, Peterson captures the spirit, manners, and social conditions present during the American Revolutionary War. We meet colorful, credible characters who navigate the high seas of life and love, dependence and independence, war and peace, truth and consequence, and despite forays into dark places, The Fiddler’s Gun is beautiful, lyrical, and redemptive.
Posted a link yesterday. Wow, people are saying such nice things about you… Let the fire spreading begin!

Can’t wait! Andrew, we ARE listening. Thanks for telling stories that give us a glimpse…
Just out of curiosity, what makes you think you need to roll out a “promotional machine” on the “Please-Buy-My-Record Highway” here in the Rabbit Room? We’re all going to order at least one…
The Nefarious Me? So, that would be somewhat akin to the Despicable Me, right?
Andrew, Thank you.
“The Reckoning” has been bouncing off the cement brick Max Sec prison walls. (I still am amazed they let me take a CD player in there.) We hear it, we feel it - the song stirs a sigh of recognition in many hearts.
And thanks for the explanation of “Counting Stars.” It’s a good one.
So excited to get my hands (and ears) on this record!
BTW, I didn’t know David Cross worked on this album!
Pretty doggone exciting, can’t wait!!
Love the new song, Andrew, especially the drums - wow!
Watching this video the MST3000 side of me kicked in and I do not know why.
If I didn’t know who you all were and where the three of you come from, I would expect to hear phrases like, “Eh, hoser, crack open a Molson will yah?” and “Shutup, eh, the Hockey game is on”
Lynx,
David Cross! Ha! Hilarious!
I love how real you guys are in your walk with the Lord. Don’t ever pull any punches. It is what keeps bringing me back here.
Just thinking that it reminds me of rounding Cape Horn in the storm, knowing God is holding all the universe together in the palms of His hand.
I have a feeling that The Reckoning will be my favorite song on the album. I am super pumped! Can’t wait!
Well done on the promo video here…though you three aren’t usually this serious…????
