On November 15th, we’re proud to present Rabbit Room LIVE 2016: A Fundraiser and a Celebration of Music, Story, Art, and Community. You can think of it as a one-night slice of Hutchmoot. You can think of it as the Local Show turned up to eleven. Or you can of it as our way demonstrating what the Rabbit Room’s all about through one fantastic evening of music, story, and fun.
In the coming weeks we’ll be unveiling a more details and some of our special guests, but rest assured that we’re cooking up a great evening that you won’t want to miss. We’re even planning to live stream the event for those who can’t be here in person (we’re still working out the details on that so look for more information to come).
But this event is more than just a great show. It’s a launch celebration for the Rabbit Room as an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This is a huge new step in the evolution of the Rabbit Room and we’re excited about the opportunities it brings for more events (both local and national), more books, more music, and more tools for drawing people together and fostering communities. We’ve got lots of plans and ideas and we’re anxious to tell you about them.
We need your help to bring all those ideas to life, though, and this means that Rabbit Room LIVE doubles as a fundraiser. Your ticket is a donation and tax deductible for any amount beyond the first $20 (for a $50 ticket, $30 is tax deductible, etc.). So this is an opportunity not only to see a great show, but to think of a ticket as a gift to another person, an artist, a family, even an organization.
In the past 10 years, the Rabbit Room has grown beyond our wildest expectations. We’ve been humbled by your support and your participation, and we can’t wait to see what this next step brings. We believe the Rabbit Room is in the middle of a great story, and you are helping us tell it. Join us on November 15th as we celebrate.
