Every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m., we open the doors of North Wind Manor to anyone who wants to visit. Fika is our larger, louder version of open hours, where you might find pop up jam sessions on the porch, new friends mingling over snacks, or a game of tag in the backyard.

About the event
The Swedish word Fika literally means "coffee break." Yet, the concept carries lovely implications of community, coziness, and pause. Every Wednesday afternoon, we open the doors of North Wind Manor to anyone who wants to visit. Fika feels different each week, though, generally, it's a vibrant hum of conversation, laughter, and music. You are welcome to bring your laptop for work or some other kind of project, just be aware that Fika is talkative and playful. Often there are jubilant children making happy noises inside and out.
