The 2026 Rabbit Room Press Kids' Summer Reading Challenge is open!

1. Read books and complete activities to earn points. Earn at least 250 points to complete the challenge and win the prize.

   • Download the full list of books and activities eligible for points. ​

     • Activities can be completed as many times as desired to redeem their listed point value​.

     • Books can only be redeemed for their point value once.

   • All the books on the list are available at Store.RabbitRoom.com

2. Fill in the Reading Tracker as you  earn points.

   • Download the Reading Tracker.​

3. Have an adult submit a photo of the completed R eading Tracker and fill out the information on the form here. Submission deadline is midnight (of your local time zone) on July 31st, 2026.

4. After you complete the challenge, we will email you a $10 Rabbit Room Store gift card! (Emails will be sent at the beginning of August.)

FAQs

• What is the reward?

  • A $10 gift card to the Rabbit Room Store

• What ages can participate?

  • This challenge is aimed at ages 8-15, but anyone who feels like a child at heart can participate.

• What counts as reading?

  • Physical books, eBooks, bedtime read-alouds, writings on the wall, disembodied voices reciting sonnets, or audiobooks all count as reading in our books!

• Can I read books not on the list?

  • ​Yes, you can read as many books not on the list as you would like. All books not listed are worth 10 points.
